Cole Swindell has earned his sixth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart dated July 31, thanks to “Single Saturday Night.”
“Single Saturday Night” rose from 2nd position to the No. 1 spot in its 56th week on the tally. In the week ending July 25, the song increased by 6% to 33.8 million audience impressions, according to MRC Data.
“Single Saturday Night” was co-written by Swindell along with Ashley Gorley, Hardy and Mark Holman. The track is the lead single from Swindell’s upcoming fourth full-length album.
“I am blown away and so proud that ‘Single Saturday Night’ is my sixth No. 1,” Swindell told Billboard. “It’s because of the fans. They have played such a huge part in the success of this song. I released it just for the fans, and they responded in such a big way that it pushed us to release it to radio. I can’t thank my radio friends and my team enough for their continued belief in me and my music. I am humbled.”
Swindell previously topped the Country Airplay chart with “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight”, “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey”, “You Should Be Here”, “Middle of a Memory” and “Love You Too Late.”
